Search for Signs of Intelligent Life on the Universe - Auto & General Theatre on the Square

From Monday, October 9th, 2017 to Saturday, October 28th, 2017
Starring MICHELLE DOUGLAS
Directed by STEVEN FEINSTEIN

Michelle Douglas plays multiple roles in Jane Wagner's one-woman play, a comedic look at and critique of contemporary American society.

The piece takes up themes of the interconnectedness of people and of people’s methods for finding meaning in lives that sometimes seem absurd. The play’s theatricality, and the fact that all of its characters are performed by the same actor, stresses universal human connections.

Show times:
Tues-Fri at 20h15 and 2 shows on Sat at 18h00 and 820h15

From Tuesday, October 31st, 2017 to Saturday, November 18th, 2017
By SIPHIWO MAHALA

The play is about Daniel Canodoce “Can” Themba, the assistant editor of the Drum Magazine in the fifties and for writing The Suit. Directed by VANESSA COOK, THE HOUSE OF TRUTH stars SELLO MAAKE KANCUBE.
