Antique Fair - 9am to 4pm

From Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 to Saturday, November 30th, 2019

THE MONTHLY ANTIQUES FAIR AT NELSON MANDELA SQUARE – ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 9AM TO 4PM

Johannesburg’s best kept secret is the Antiques & Collectables Fair which takes place on the Upper and Lower Levels of Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton on the first Sunday of every month.  It’s up there with the likes of the top table-top fairs in London, Paris, New York and Buenos Aires – popular with all those who love to collect antiques and collectables – whether for pleasure or for investment!

As the country’s biggest and most prestigious monthly antiques fair, attracting over antique dealers from all over the country who exhibit on the first Sunday of every month on the Upper and Lower Levels of Nelson Mandela Square, the Antiques Faire has become a fixture on the ‘what-to-do’ monthly calendar for locals and is also fast becoming a tourist attraction for out-of-towners and overseas visitors.

The dealers who exhibit at the Fair are an eclectic bunch of people who are committed to giving the very best in products and services.  They are passionate about their trade and many are specialists in their fields.  Whether you’re looking for a rare piece of silver, an unusual corkscrew, a map or rare book, or want to start a collection of porcelain, the dealers will give you all the advice, support and encouragement you need to become a devotee of antiques and collecting.

Spread over both the Upper and Lower Levels of Nelson Mandela Square, the Antiques Fair operates from 09h00 to 16h00 and is within walking distance of the Sandton Gautrain.  A classical quartet entertains shoppers between 11h00 and 13h00.
